Does Sol Systems Trade SRECs in North Carolina?
Sol Systems does not register systems to trade SRECs in the North Carolina state market. However, some North Carolina systems may still be eligible for SREC brokerage through the Pennsylvania Tier I market if they are connected to PJM.
When a North Carolina System May Be Eligible
A North Carolina–located solar system may be eligible for SREC brokerage if:

The system is electrically connected to PJM

The system is registered under the Pennsylvania Tier I SREC market
As a general rule:

Systems served by Dominion Energy in North Carolina are typically connected to PJM and may be eligible
Case-by-Case Eligibility

Some rural electric cooperatives and municipal utilities in North Carolina may also be connected to PJM
