SRECs are generally awarded for every 1,000 kWh (or 1 MWh) of energy produced by your system.
Solar energy production is determined by the solar system size, location, orientation (azimuth), tilt, and equipment used, among other factors. A good rule a thumb is that annual SREC production equals about 1.2 times the system size in kilowatts. For example, a 10kW system will generally produce about 12 SRECs each year.
To obtain a better estimate of production, you can use PV Watts. Enter your system specifications in order to receive a production estimate.
