Energy production usually needs to be reported
Since SRECs are based on energy production, system owners often have to report their energy production to earn SRECs. Self-reporting is just one way to report energy production. Energy production can be reported one of three ways:
Customers who are not set up for estimated production and have not provided remote monitoring access to Sol Systems must submit meter readings to receive SREC payments.
Determine if you're a self-reporter
If you received an email from us asking you for a meter reading, you're currently set up as a self-reporter.
To check how you're set up to report, log in to the Sol Systems Dashboard and check the Generation column. If you have a green "Add Meter Reading" button, you're currently set up to self-report meter readings.
