Am I required to self-report?
If you received an email from us asking you to report, you'll need to do so. If you're not sure if you have to, you can determine if you're set up to self-report.
How to find your meter reading
You'll need to figure out which device you need to report from, and how to read the device's screen. Here's how.
How to submit your meter reading
If you already have your meter reading, all you need to do now is report it.
To report a meter reading, log in to the Sol Systems Dashboard and click "Submit Meter Readings" at the top or "Add a Meter Reading" in the table.
Then, enter your meter reading and click Submit.
Occasionally, our Dashboard will flag any meter reading that appears to be unusually high or unusually low. In those cases, you must also attach a screenshot from your remote monitoring platform or a photo of your dedicated solar meter that clearly shows the reading you are attempting to upload.
Self-reporting in Massachusetts
Customers who are set to self-reporting in the State of Massachusetts must enter their meter readings directly through the MassCEC Production Tracking System.
Click on this link for a video tutorial from MassCEC with step-by-step directions for self-reporting your meter reading.
Please note solar systems in Massachusetts under 10kW may report their own readings but all systems greater than 10kW must report meter readings through an approved Data Acquisition System (DAS).
