The solar industry is a growing and evolving industry. Early adopters of residential solar systems may have noticed that once familiar brands and companies, including the installer of their own solar system, are no longer operating or may have been acquired by other brands and companies. However, solar systems may still require occasional maintenance and system upgrades.
As a reminder, Sol Systems is not a solar installer and does not handle service requests for maintenance.
If you require maintenance or system upgrade and your (former) installer has gone out of business, customers are encouraged to search for another installer in their area using the National Solar Database [external link] offered by SEIA, the national trade association for the solar and solar+storage industries. The National Solar Database is a comprehensive list of solar companies in the United States and provides an interactive map that users can scroll across to locate solar installers in their state or region (see 🔵 blue pins).
