Sol Systems does not register solar facilities to trade SRECs in the North Carolina state market.
However, Sol Systems' SREC business line primarily operates within the PJM Interconnection which means a solar system located in North Carolina can still be registered for SREC brokerage services so long as it is connected to PJM. These facilities would instead be registered to participate (and subject to pricing) in the Pennsylvania Tier I SREC market. As a rule of thumb, NC-sited solar facilities serviced by Dominion Energy as their electric utility are connected to PJM and therefore eligible (see rough outline in purple of Dominion Energy's service territory in North Carolina in image below).

Please note some rural electric coops and small municipal-owned utilities may also be connected to PJM and therefore those solar facilities may be eligible to register for the Pennsylvania Tier I market. Eligibility for these addresses must be determined on a case-by-case basis.
