# How will I get paid for Sol Brokerage?
## Sol Brokerage customers are paid based on the market price of SRECs at the time they are sold.
### **How is my Sol Brokerage payment calculated?**
Payments are calculated using a **weighted average price** of all SRECs sold during a given month.
For each SREC sold, customers receive:
- The **weighted average market price**,
- **Minus the applicable transaction fee**
Because pricing is market-based, Sol Brokerage payments will **fluctuate over time**.
### **Why does my payment amount change?**
SREC prices change as market conditions evolve.
While values may vary month to month:
- Sol Brokerage SREC prices are generally **lower than the Solar Alternative Compliance Payment (SACP)** in the applicable state
- This reflects normal market behavior, as the SACP functions as a penalty ceiling rather than a typical market price
### **When are Sol Brokerage payments issued?**
Sol Brokerage payments are issued on a **monthly basis**, once SRECs have been **sold to a buyer**.
You may not receive a payment every month if:
- Your system does not generate a full SREC in a given month, or
- It takes longer to match your SRECs with a buyer
