How do I set up Chint (Chint Power Systems or CPS) for automatic SREC reporting?

To enable automatic SREC reporting, Sol Systems needs viewer access to your site in the Chint monitoring portal. Once access is granted, Sol Systems will automatically retrieve energy production data each month.

What access does Sol Systems need?

Please provide View Only access to info@solsystems.com through the Chint monitoring platform.

Step-by-step: How to share your Chint site with Sol Systems

Step 1: Log in to your Chint account

  1. Open a web browser and go to the Chint login page

  2. Enter your email and password, then click Sign In

Step 2: Navigate to site management

  1. Locate the Sites section in the dashboard menu

  2. Select the site you would like to share

Step 3: Open sharing or permissions settings

  1. Click the site name to open the detailed view

  2. Locate the Sharing or Permissions section

    • This may also be labeled Manage Access

Step 4: Invite Sol Systems

  1. Select Invite Organization or Add Collaborator

  2. Enter the Sol Systems email address:
    info@solsystems.com

Step 5: Set access permissions

Grant View Only access, which allows Sol Systems to view production data without making changes.

Click Send Invitation.

Step 6: Notify Sol Systems

Sol Systems will receive an email invitation to accept site access.

Please email info@solsystems.com once you have sent the invitation so we can accept it and activate access.

Step 7: Confirm your site name in the Sol Dashboard

To help us locate your system’s production data:

  1. Log in to the Sol Systems Dashboard

  2. Find your system and click View

  3. Enter your Chint site name under External System Name

  4. Click Save
