How will I get paid for Sol Brokerage?

Sol Brokerage customers are paid based on the market price of SRECs at the time they are sold.

How is my Sol Brokerage payment calculated?

Payments are calculated using a weighted average price of all SRECs sold during a given month.

For each SREC sold, customers receive:

  • The weighted average market price,

  • Minus the applicable transaction fee

Because pricing is market-based, Sol Brokerage payments will fluctuate over time.

Why does my payment amount change?

SREC prices change as market conditions evolve.

While values may vary month to month:

  • Sol Brokerage SREC prices are generally lower than the Solar Alternative Compliance Payment (SACP) in the applicable state

  • This reflects normal market behavior, as the SACP functions as a penalty ceiling rather than a typical market price

When are Sol Brokerage payments issued?

Sol Brokerage payments are issued on a monthly basis, once SRECs have been sold to a buyer.

You may not receive a payment every month if:

  • Your system does not generate a full SREC in a given month, or

  • It takes longer to match your SRECs with a buyer
