How to Set Up SolarEdge for Automatic SREC Reporting

To allow Sol Systems to automatically collect your system’s energy production data, you will need to grant Sol Systems access to your SolarEdge monitoring portal and provide your SolarEdge site name in the Sol Systems Dashboard.

Step 1: Provide site access in SolarEdge

For Sol Systems to take energy production readings from SolarEdge, we will need site access on the SolarEdge monitoring portal.

  1. Go to the SolarEdge monitoring portal: https://monitoring.solaredge.com and log in.

  2. Locate and click the site you want to share access for.

  3. From the system page, click the Admin button.

If you do not see the Admin button, you may not have administrator access. In that case, your installer will need to provide access on your behalf. You can send them a link to this article.

  1. Click Site Access.

  2. Select Users.

  3. Click + Add User.

  4. Enter info@solsystemscompany.com in the Email field.

  5. Click Save.

Before leaving the SolarEdge portal, copy the system’s site name exactly as it appears in SolarEdge.

Step 2: Add your SolarEdge site name in the Sol Systems Dashboard

Next, provide your SolarEdge site name in the Sol Systems Dashboard so our team can locate your system’s production data.

  1. Go to the Sol Systems Dashboard: https://srecs.solsystems.com/ and log in.

  2. Find the system you are setting up and click View or Missing # Items.

  3. Under External System Name, type or paste the SolarEdge site name exactly as it appears in SolarEdge.

  4. Click Save.

If you do not see the prompt for missing Remote Monitoring Information on the Dashboard, please send your SolarEdge site name to info@solsystems.com so our team can complete the setup.

Once access has been granted and the site name has been added, Sol Systems will automatically collect your system’s production data each month, and you will not need to manually report meter readings.
