When should I report energy production to Sol Systems?
Whether you are reporting lifetime (cumulative) or monthly net meter readings, your submission should reflect your system’s solar generation through the end of the previous month.
When is the deadline to report my meter reading?
Customers should submit their meter reading by the 5th day of each month to ensure timely reporting.
Example:
To report solar generation through the end of June, submit your meter reading no later than July 5.
When are SRECs minted?
Energy production is processed by PJM’s Generation Attribute Tracking System (GATS).

GATS mints generation on the last business day of the following month

For example, June generation is minted on the last business day of July
How are SRECs calculated?

One SREC is created for every full 1,000 kWh of solar energy generated

Any production below 1,000 kWh rolls over to the next month

SRECs will appear in your Sol Systems account only after they have been minted
When are SREC payments issued?
SREC payments are issued:

Quarterly for Massachusetts
